The kids cared for one another and made new friends as they learned more about nature, down to the littlest creatures around them. They hiked, they made forts, they learned to forage and they peed in the woods. Their experience was self directed and focused on group decision making, which is an awesome experience for these kids given their schools have to hit such standardized curriculum objectives.
