
It’s sort of counterintuitive but even though Isabel was born in South Korea, her status as an American citizen means she has to register for a Korean visa and an alien registration card. So this afternoon, Momma’s friend and assistant Haeryun took us to the Seoul Immigration Office for our appointment to get registered. All the papers were accepted so now Isa just has to wait a few weeks for her official alien registration card, which will grant her the privilege of traveling in and out of Korea with ease for the next year.
