Isa is born into a huge extended family, and many of them live near DC, in Maryland. When we lived in DC, we always joined this side of the family for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Saturday, we loaded Isa up and went to Columbia, MD, to hang out with Oma’s cousin Calvin and his wife Diem, and several kiddos — Momma’s second-cousin Ethan and HIS cousins. (I will have to explain these familial connections to Isa when she is older.)
