Trick or Treating (as Fairies)

Big thanks to our US Embassy staff friends who invited us onto the U.S. base for trick-or-treating! Korea doesn’t practice the ol’ Halloween trick or treating tradition so we were deprived of it last year, when the girls were four and one.

But it all worked out because now Isa is old enough to walk around and actually collect candy, and her sister is old enough to take her around and guide her. They both had different costumes for school Halloween celebrations on Friday and then decided on Saturday at the last minute to be fairies together, like they did for a party last year. Isa refused to wear her wings but she was happy to be color-coordinated with her sister and they had a great, great time. Isa didn’t want to stop but bedtime beckoned.
