Isa has a beautiful, normal heart. That’s the conclusion of a pediatric cardiologist we went to see this morning, after a referral from Isa’s primary pediatrician. The pediatrician heard a heart murmur and wanted to make sure it wasn’t anything to worry about, so Isa went to the specialist today.
The EKG showed that Isa’s left ventricle might be slightly enlarged so then the doctor did an ultrasound on her chest while Isa watched Frozen. Turned out the shape is just fine and there are no holes or anything, the blood is all flowing and in the right direction. Beautiful, big heart, Isa! (Then again we knew that about her, at least figuratively.)
