Santa Monica Mountains

Isabel and her sister recently visited ‘69 Bravo,’ a base in the Santa Monica Mountains high above the city that’s used for water refill by helicopter pilots fighting wildfires. Dad got permission to take them to the site, which has stunning 360-degree views of the Pacific Ocean and Los Angeles basin.
