What a bummer of a year. Nothing is as it used to be. Everything is upside down. But we still managed to pull it together as a family to take Isabel to Palm Springs for a little getaway on her birthday. She also requested that we hide gifts all over the house for her to find on the morning of her big day, so she got up early and found all the gifts stashed all over the place, which brought her great joy.
